By signing this agreement you agree to hold harmless and indemnify SUN and the volunteer members of the Selection Committee from and against any and all disputes, claims, injuries, losses, or concerns related to your solar installation process or equipment, including claims arising as the result of the negligence, gross negligence, or willful misconduct of SUN and the Selection Committee.You acknowledge and agree that, in organizing a solar co-op, SUN is not acting as your agent, is not in joint partnership with you, and owes no fiduciary duties to you.SUN will have no responsibility for the operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, or removal of solar equipment installed at your property, or any damage or injury to, or caused by, the solar equipment or solar installers working at your property.You should refer to your contract with your installer for a complete list of your obligations under your contract with your installer.

This includes, but is not limited to, any financing applications and payments, and any renewable energy credit agreements. You are solely responsible for all payments and all other obligations of the buyer or customer under the agreement with the installer. SUN may offer you assistance in reviewing your proposal, answering questions, or communicating with the installer, but is not be liable for any assistance provided.

Isoar coop install#

  • If you choose to install solar, the contract you sign will be between you and the solar installation company only SUN will not be a party to that contract.
  • SUN does not have a vote on the Committee and will not be responsible for the final decision to select the solar installation company. The Committee is made up of co-op members and will evaluate all submitted bids and will choose a solar company the Committee believes is best suited for their solar co-op.
  • You are eligible to participate on the Selection Committee.
  • The fee we charge the installer that the group selects is standard, regardless of installation company, but is subject to change over time.
  • SUN does not have a preferred relationship, marketing agreement, or partnership with any solar installation company.
  • You are not charged the fee or any other fees by SUN. This fee is charged to the co-op’s selected solar installation company.
  • SUN collects a $600 fee for each homeowner that goes solar.

    Solar United Neighbors (SUN) is not liable in any way if you do. You can withdraw from participating in the co-op up until you’ve signed a contract with your solar installer.Completing this form does not bind you financially and does not obligate you to proceed with installation and/or financing.
